How do I console my girlfriend?

Her father died two weeks ago and she hasn't been her normal self. I gave her a week of rest. Now she won't even cook or make me a sandwich. She stopped cleaning the house . She said she's still saddened by the death of her father. I said I didn't care as I gave her one week of rest. I slapped her and she yelled at me and started crying. I asked why she was being so sensitive . She said I was being insensitive and threw a pan at me. I released my German Shepards on her but she managed to hide in a room. She's been in the room for the past 4 days. She's not coming out no matter what. How do I lure her to come out?
