I feel so left out?

it's ped valentine's day i know but today was my school's sadie hawkins dance. i didn't go. i know im supposed to ask cause im a girl and the girl's supposed to ask but im so shy and quiet and nervous. i like this one guy a lot but we've never said more than hi to each other. i hate valentine's day, it's single awareness day in disguise! everyone's coupled off at school. almost everyone had a date and some even got together. i feel so left out. i actually want a boyfriend. one that i could cuddle with, i find it so cute and innocent.
