I am taking photos for a gig tomorrow night - any help would be amazing!!?

I am taking photos for Kris Roe of the The Ataris tomorrow night and I have lost a lot of confidence in photography recently. As much as I am looking forward to this - I am so scared!! I have a nikon D40 - I know flash is not a good idea but I need help
