Liberals and Conservatives and Moderates?

This question is serious, so please try to keep it civil and intelligent. Don't most all of us here think we are wasting billions if not trillions on two wars that aren't really wars and we can't win them doing what we are doing? And now we are "training" and giving monetary aid to Yemen. If we all demand it, and if the current political climate remains, (of listening to the people), can't we force our politicians to get the heck out of the middle east? Didn't the Soviet Union collapse after spending tons of it's natural treasure in Afghanistan? I know that might be a stretch, but I'm just bringing it up. We can't afford it, and it is breaking our backs. I'm not sure what we would do with the returning soldiers, but maybe they could make shovels, then put them to good use. Man, this is insane. YEMEN! Where is next? No partisan stuff please. Our current administration, as well as the past, are guilty of this.
