My computer says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and Win32.sys?

Okay my computer is an HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop about a year old. I have been getting the blue screen of death 3 or 4 times a week. Sometimes it says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and other times it says Win32.sys. I recently had my computer reformatted because of a driver error, the blue screen was doing this before the reformatting and after words. Within the past 3 months I upgraded the ram and before I did that occasionally I would get the blue screen of death but definitely more frequently now. Anyone have any idea whats going on aside from HP laptops sucking a big one?
